LED walls deliver a range of lively moving images and backgrounds to high resolution video that offers eye popping video imagery.
Just like any HDTV, a digital signage display needs a little magic so people can actually see it. Well, magic and a sturdy mount. A good mount doesn’t just hold that display up high, but also keeps it safe from unauthorized hands.
Crimson AV just announced a few AV mount options, and each one is specifically designed for the digital signage market.
First up is the VW4600 Video Wall Mount System. This mount allows that display to hang any way you want it, with lateral, vertical, horizontal, and plumb adjustments. It also has an integrated lock and key system with the option to pull it out another 10.75 inches for wiring and servicing monitors. Described as a “best value in class” option, Crimson has listed the VW4600 with an MSRP of $425 per mount (based on configuration).
Right in the middle of the new selection is the C2K65 and C2K65D. Both are ceiling mounts, designed to hang up to four different displays ranging between 37 and 65 inches. The C2K65 has two single Universal assemblies and the C2K65D consists of two dual back-to-back Universal assemblies. Whether in portrait or landscape mode, each display can be independently rotated 360 degrees and locked into place, allowing for unique signage applications.
Other features on the C2K65 and C2K65D include through-column cable routing, continuous vertical adjustment, and up to 15 degrees of tilt. Each one includes a 10-foot pipe drop and heavy duty ceiling adapter, as well as an MSRP of $460 to $1,000, depending on the configuration.
At the top of the heap is the CQUAD63 Universal Ceiling Mounted Quad Display System. Designed to hold four displays ranging from 37 to 63 inches each, the CQUAD6 has a Universal mounting interface, through-column cable routing, a 360-degree lockable post-installation rotation, and up to 20 degrees of tilt. Capable of mounting either in portrait or landscape orientation, the CQUAD63 also comes with a 10-foot pipe drop, heavy-duty ceiling adapter, and pre-sorted hardware kit. It has an MSRP of $600 to $1,600, depending on the configuration.
