Amid rumors of an acquisition by Avaya, Radvision is pressing forward with products designed for SMBs and expanded integration of selected products with AMX, Crestron and Extron.

Now available is the new Scopia Elite MCU 5105, an entry-level MCU that supports high definition, video and content sharing. It offers five ports for HD video calls and up to 20 ports for enhanced definition calls. Dynamic resource allocation is built-in, says the Fair Lawn, NJ and Tel Aviv, Israel based company. It ships as part of the Scopia Elite 5105 bundle, which also includes Scopia Desktop Pro and Scopia Mobile. This product allows users to join video conferences over their iPhone, iPad Touch or iPad. The Elite 5105 bundle is available for $38,000.

Radvision is also offering the Scopia XT1000 SMB video conferencing solution. The system is built on the Scopia XT100 HD room system, which combines an HD video room with multiparty conferencing, Scopia Desktop conferencing, and firewall traversal. This product now includes Scopia Mobile. The bundle is available from $14,900.

In another announcement, the company stated its Scopia XT1000 Series room-based video conferencing products can now be managed by control devices from AMX, Crestron, and Extron.

According to the company, AV integrators can now offer a single point of control for the video conferencing series in addition to the other room elements such as lighting, displays, projectors, etc.

Modules and software drivers for integration with these controller platforms are available now on Radvision’s support portal, the company says.
