Following the relaunch of the Worship Tech Director website earlier this year, the site has grown significantly, to where much credit and thanks must be given to the more than 40 writers who contributed regularly to the site throughout the year, providing all sorts of insight on things associated with audio, video, lighting, to spiritual health and team development.

What has been incredible over the past year has been how well a wide variety of articles were received and garnered attention over not just a day or two, but often continued keep the interest of readers for as long as a week or two.

During this week, the second to last week of the 2016 year, Worship Tech Director is featuring five articles throughout this week, each of which earned the greatest interest from the site’s readers, followed by the top five articles of the year in the eyes of Worship Tech Director Site Editor Andres Caamano.

Having begun on Monday through Thursday with the site’s four top performing articles this year, we next want to highlight the site’s fifth highest performing article this year today.

In large part, each of these articles played a significant role to growing the site’s traffic over the year by more than 60 percent, when compared to the previous year.

While the site’s best performing article, Harness the Power of Color for Your Stage Lighting!, by Duke DeJong earned more than 8,000 pageviews over the year, the second followed close behind with 7,310 pageviews, showcasing the best products pulled from a series of slideshows, Top 7 Products to Consider for Your Church. The third highest performing article this year was Lighting is Art, and Art is Worship, by Charlie Pike, with the fourth being A Column Speakers Review: 2016 Update.

The fifth piece was an incredibly well written piece on the site posted on April 27 pertaining to filmmaking, specifically the interviewing process that is part of the whole process, entitled “Tips For Shooting Interviews For Your Church” (5,779 pageviews), written by Nathan VonMinden, the Worship and Creative Arts Pastor at Grace Point Church in San Antonio. The piece is certainly a bit longer than a standard blogpost, but one will come away having learned their fair share upon giving this a complete read.

For those who haven’t yet had an opportunity to look over “Tips For Shooting Interviews For Your Church,” take the time to read it here:
